A Slack notification endpoint is a webhook that enables you to send notifications from Finout to a specific Slack channel or user. When a notification endpoint is configured, Finout can send messages to the specified Slack channel or user by sending a POST request to the endpoint URL.
These notifications can include alerts, updates, or other relevant information that needs to be communicated to team members in real-time.
By utilizing Slack notification endpoints, teams can streamline their communication processes and ensure that important information is always delivered to the right people, at the right time, and in the right format
If you want to send your report to Slack, configure a Slack webhook and create a Slack endpoint. You can test your endpoint when you create it.
Configure a Slack webhook as described in Slack Documentation.
Select Settings > Endpoints.
Click Add endpoint.
Enter an Endpoint name.
Enter a Description.
Enter a Slack webhook URL.
To test the endpoint, click Test Endpoint.
Click Add Endpoint.
For more information about endpoints and how to connect to a report, please refer to the Reporting documentation.
