The enhanced Forecast widget in a table view format provides users with a straightforward numerical representation of forecasts, making it easier to compare with past expenses.
For instance, while the FinOps team might want a monthly forecast breakdown, the finance division could be interested in this quarter's forecasted trends for their cost center. On the other hand, the management might look for a half-yearly summary of departmental forecasts for strategic decisions.
Key highlights:
Versatility in Timeframe Selection: Users can select from predefined time frames or customize their own to suit specific needs.
Detailed Grouping Options: View data by service, virtual tags, cost centers, and more.
Comprehensive Data Points: Forecast for the selected period, previous period cost, and comparison between two periods.
Navigate to Dashboard.
Add a widget. Select Table Chart.
Check the Show forecast checkbox.
Set the necessary filters for your forecast.
Group by: select the group of values to see the forecast for cost centers, services, custom costs, Virtual Tags, and more.
