Creating Jira issues directly from Finout ensures work is executed in Jira in the following ways:
Keep ownership and execution in the system where teams already plan and track.
Eliminate manual copy-paste by embedding Finout context directly into tickets.
Reduce context switching and handoffs to accelerate follow-through.
Standardize how cost findings become actionable work (with priority, assignee, and status managed in Jira).
Improve visibility and tracking by linking issues back to Finout insights.
Prerequisites:
An active Jira Cloud account, along with administrative rights.
You must be an Admin in Finout or have a role with Integration permissions..
How to Integrate Jira with Finout
Navigate to Settings > Integrations.
Click Add Integration. The Connect Accounts option appears.
Under Jira, click Connect Now. The Create Jira Integration appears.
Enter your Jira host URL and click Next. The Install Finout for Jira appears.
Install the Jira app in the following two ways:
Jira Marketplace: If you have Jira admin permissions, search for the Finout app.
Copy Installation Link: If you don't have Jira admin permissions, copy the installation link and send it to a Jira admin in your organization.
Click Done. Result: Once installed, navigate to Integrations and see the status as Connected. There are three statuses for integrations:
Pending - When the admin started the integration from Finout, but the application has not yet been installed in Jira.
Connected - Once the connection is ready and the app is installed.
Problem - When the Finout app is deleted from Jira.

How many Jira instances can I connect to Finout? You can connect only one Jira instance to Finout per account.
What happens after the Jira integration is installed? Once installation is complete and the application is installed, the integration will appear on the Integrations page in Finout with a Connected status.
How do I install the Jira app for Finout?
You can install the app in two ways:
Jira Marketplace: If you have Jira admin permissions, search for the Finout app and install it.
Installation Link: Copy the installation link from Finout and share it with a Jira admin in your organization.
